Job description: Who We Are Kochi Cafe is a fresh and exciting brand starting our journey in Tunbridge Wells. We specialise in fluffy soufflé pancakes, speciality matcha drinks, and exceptional coffee. We’re building a team that values consistency, creativity, and excellent service. At Kochi Cafe, you’ll be supported to develop your skills, try new ideas, and even help shape our seasonal menu. The Role Hours: 10 hours per week (no early morning shift) Days: 2 days per week Weekend availability: Required Location: Lower Ground Floor, Royal Victoria Place, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2SR Pay: £12.90 per hour Closing Date: 29/08/2025 Start Date: 08/09/2025 What You’ll Be Doing Take orders and serve customers with a warm, friendly smile Deliver outstanding customer service and help create a welcoming team atmosphere Support with food preparation — from flipping soufflé pancakes to assembling ingredients with care Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene Work collaboratively with the kitchen staff and fellow team members What We’re Looking For Willingness to learn, experiment, and share creative ideas Friendly, customer-focused attitude with a genuine desire to help No prior experience required (service experience is a plus!)
