This Christmas, Royal Victoria Place was filled with festive cheer, twinkling lights and joyful moments, and a few exciting milestones too!
We kicked things off in true festive style with our Christmas Lights Switch-On, bringing Tunbridge Wells together to officially welcome the season. With the lights glowing and excitement in the air, it set the perfect tone for everything that followed.
You enjoyed the brand-new Snow Globe Ticket Grab, where swirling snow, quick reactions and plenty of laughter gave lucky participants the chance to win tickets to SKATE TW at Calverley Grounds or Sleeping Beauty at the Assembly Hall Theatre.
Across the centre, our retailers brought Christmas to life with the Window Wonderland Trail, transforming shop fronts into festive showstoppers and inviting shoppers to vote for their favourite display in our People’s Choice competition. A huge congratulations to our winners, Sweet Temptations Cakery & Frook Eats.
Families were treated to seasonal storytelling at the Teddy Bears’ Picnic, hosted by the wonderful Mrs Claus. With enchanting Christmas tales, chocolate treats and smiles all round, it quickly became a festive favourite.
Visitors also loved stopping for photos with our newly named Giant Teddy, Spencer, and our beautifully festive Nutcracker scene, both of which became must-visit photo spots throughout the season.
December also marked a major moment for us here at Royal Victoria Place, with the highly anticipated opening of Primark on 12th December! The launch drew impressive footfall and added even more buzz to an already vibrant Christmas atmosphere.
