Car Park Refurbishment

Commencing in March 2025, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is starting a major project to refurbish the Royal Victoria Place car park, which is due for completion in July 2026.

The project includes essential refurbishment and maintenance work, including redecoration, resurfacing, and structural repairs.

Solar panels will be installed on the top of the car park, providing sustainable energy for the shopping centre and car park.

The car park will remain open for most of the refurbishment period, although areas being worked on will be closed to users.

During June and July 2025, the car park will be fully closed to enable work at the entrance and exit levels. During the closure, alternative parking will be available in Meadow Road and Crescent Road car parks.

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and the Royal Victoria Place Management Team apologise for any inconvenience and disruption during these works.
